Services
RSLYA's new MediaLAB is a space for creativity, education, and project work. Here you can trace the history of technology, from the first books to the state-of-the-art computers. Use three workstations with graphic and engineering software (CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop CS6, Inkscape, GIMP, Blender, SketchUp Make and more), get a guided tour of the (or explore it on your own with an iPad and audioguide), listen to lectures about information technologies, watch our retro devices — film and slide projectors — in action. We also have modern devices: a 3D printer, graphics tablet, electronic magnifier, and reading scanner. Here you can also get help with printing and scanning text and images.
Events
At MediaLAB we offer weekly classes in using full-text databases, guided tours of the E-Book Museum for groups (upon request), lectures at the IT Club (once a month), demonstrations of retro technologies in action (on special occasions), workshops and seminars.
