Book Patchwork is a special foreign language collection of fiction for young adults, about young people or written by modern young authors established by the RSLYA. It allows young users not only to read popular and up-to-date books in their original language, but also to form their own opinion on reading habits of today’s young adults from different countries.
For forming and enlarging the Book Patchwork Collection we actively collaborate with dedicated bookstores; develop professional relations with foreign libraries; and use various official young adult book lists. As of 2018, the Book Patchwork Collection includes more than 260 young adult books from 19 countries, among them Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, the U.K., the U.S., Republic of Korea, Bulgaria, Poland, Norway, China, Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia.
