RSLYA has a collection of about a thousand CDs and DVDs with audiobooks: classical Russian and foreign literature; different genres of modern fiction: science fiction, fantasy, adventure; books on history, psychology, philosophy, religion, art history, economics, marketing, management; radio programmes and radio dramas.
The audiobooks catalogue is accessible from the library’s e-catalogue.
We believe that audiobooks are a very important part of the library’s collection as they provide access to fiction and non-fiction to all, including visitors with low vision.
You can get the audiobooks in the Fiction and Arts Room, where a lot of them are in open access. Listen to the audiobooks right here, using our special DVD players.
In accordance with Russian copyright laws, the library has made a number of agreements with audiobook publishers and copyright holders in order to give readers registered in Moscow or Moscow region the opportunity to check out most of the audiobooks in the collection.
