Book Trailer Competition Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

The Russian State Library for Young Adults announces a book trailer competition to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

A book trailer is a short video that promotes a book: it can be a film, animation, or a slideshow.

Submit your book trailer for Alice in Wonderland before 1 September 2015 at The video has to be less than 3 minutes long.

Authors of the first ten book trailers submitted will receive a prize from our partners, AST Publishers: the new edition of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with classic illustrations by John Tenniel and commentary by American popular science writer Martin Gardner. In his commentary Gardner attempts to explain the reasons for Alice's popularity, revealing the science of the book and its literary and biographical background.

Winners of the competition will receive valuable prizes from RSLYA and great books from AST Publishers; the winning trailer will be posted on the Lewis Carroll Society's Facebook page.
