This is an exhibition catalog of the «Xinjiang Historical Documents and Ancient Books Protection Achievements Exhibition» held at the National Library. The book is divided into four parts: Pre-Qin, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties, Song, Liao, Xia, Jin and Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. It contains more than 70 kinds of precious ancient books about the history of Xinjiang with more than 200 pictures, including ancient books in Chinese and various ethnic minority languages. It is different from previous pictures. What is recorded is that there is a relatively detailed text description behind each ancient book, introducing its version, content, circulation, value and significance, etc. The catalog reflects the history of Xinjiang and the cultures of various ethnic groups, and reveals the great achievements in the protection of ancient books in Xinjiang.
