Impossible dreams is an upper-intermediate reader at the 2000 word level. Most of the vocbulary items will b found in Michael West’s GNERAL SERVICE LIST OF ENGLISH WORDS. The definitions in the Glossary pertain only to the context in which they are used here. Impossible dreams contains a variety of readings, both in form and content. The student of English reading these short stories, historical sketches, plays, etc., will hopefully be inspired to continue working toward the perfection of his knowledge of English, ralizing that it is by no means impossible, even though it requires self-disciplin and diligence
