It paid for itself many times over by leading us to delicious places to eat that were less expensive and far more delicious than we would have otherwise found on our own.It also showed us some interesting places to shop (Even if they didn't jive with our personal tastes, they were interesting), and gave some useful background summary of some places we visited.
