Аннотация: The bilingual book presents a richly illustrated (1,062 pictures) documentation on Art Nouveau heritage in Riga. It is a city containing the finest concentration of Art Nouveau buildings in Europe. Introduction of the book contains a concise history of urban development of Riga and characteristics of diverse formal language of Art Nouveau in Riga. Further on, 170 examples of Riga's Art Nouveau buildings are analysed from an architectural and artistic perspective. Photographs of these buildings and their finish details as well as drawings of plans and elevations of building projects illustrate the text. Each building is presented on two facing pages. The book's appendices include an index of the buildings and that of the architects and artists discussed.Двуязычная книга представляет собой богато иллюстрированную (1062 рисунка) документацию о наследии югендстиля в Риге.
